Come on Guys, Where is the chat about the 3/4 tonners, real men who go out in real weather ...With ovens and flushing toilets and indeed the Missus. And spend weeks away on the continent. Any takers ?

Now look here my good man, In the world of the 3/4 tonner we have an invention which you may have heard of, Comfort... Dinghy sailing is all very well but when the going gets rough is there anything to compete with a hot cup of tea and a bacon sandwich, prepared in your very own galley ? North Sea crossing in a F6-7 in anything smaller is like being on a teeny weeny Welsh Coracle in a very big and scary puddle. Oooh and for brave chaps who leave their boats afloat during the week ( in between races ) a new product has been marketed. Antifoul. You may have heard of it and been baffled by the concept, it is used by boats that dont dry sail but sadly weighs more per tin than most quarter tonners weigh all up including crew !!

HHHMMMMM.... I have heard of this concept of eating whilst sailing...On 1/4 tonners we eat our own stomachs as we find this very nutrtious.. As for crossing the North sea in a force 6.. We much prefer the ferry as we wish to keep people employed.... And it would scare us to sail in such conditions... You will get the bug on Saturday when you sail on Panic... As for this antifoul thing why do we still see boats with weed on them.. Trade description act I think there mate..

See you Saturday.. We will provide Tea and chocolate.... I have attached a picture of the luxurious inside of panic for your perusal

Many thanks for the race on saturday, I note that ONLY half a bucket of water made it into the " Cabin " fortunately I was able to either catch the rest in my boots or absorb it into the " Waterproof " clothing as supplied !!

On a happier note, I managed not to catch the Bug, although I think I detected a few small fish and the odd crab when I eventually disrobed on Saturdday evening...

Anyway, back to the question, Where are all the guys with REAL BOATS ?????????????????????????

So glad you enjoyed yourself on Saturday....However I must point out that ALL marine life "caught" whilst on board Panic doe in actual fact remain the property of Panic...Failure to return said marine life might well involve you being banned from Panic.....OH...ERM...Not much of a threat really is it??
